Former NY Times writer Edward Klein, author of the new book “The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She’ll Go to Become President” says it’s true.
According to an article on PageOne Q’s website, Klein’s new book has ‘explosive’ claims about the former First Lady, current Senator, and potential future candidate for President.
Klein claims such things as:
the culture of lesbianism has influenced Hillary’s political goals and personal life since she was a student at Wellesley, an elite college near Boston
she ‘embraced’ revolutionary lesbianism when she was young and tolerated her husband’s philandering because their marriage was a largely sexless political convenience
She said she was passionately in love with her husband, but many of her closest friends and aides were lesbians. Everything was ambiguous
Chelsea Clinton was conceived as a ploy to cover up Hillary’s sexuality
that drug paraphernalia and sex toys were put on the White House Christmas tree
Will this be Hillary’s ‘Swift Boat’? Or is Edward Klein having really bizarre fantasies about powerful women who wear pants suits?
All I can say for sure is that just because a woman fights for the rights of womankind, it does not make her a lesbian. And just because a woman is powerful and intelligent, it does not make her a lesbian. And most importantly…being friends with lesbians does not make you a lesbian.

Good grief how far will people go. I completely agree with you just because some people are embracing of different attitudes doesn’t define them. Hopefully this angers enough people to turn them off and force people to be accountable for writing garbage like this. Grant it if you like Sen. Clinton or not some things just go beyond the believable.
This is fascinating to me. I think that this is just the begining of what will be a very nasty Presidential election cycle. The GOP is scared of Hillary and they will dig stuff like this up in order to discredit her with right leaning voters. Don’t be surpised if TravelGate, Health-CareGate, MonicaGate and every other gate you can think of resurface over the next year in anticipation of her Senate campaign and the impending Presidential election. We all better buckle up for what promises to be a mud slinging contest to end all mud slinging contests.
When they accuse Hillary of being a lesbian, it isn’t about sexual preference. “Lesbian,” unfortunately, is still short hand for “wants to be a man” insult. Women can’t be ambitious or powerful, apparently.
I remember when I was younger, boys used to call each other “gay” or “fagot,” and the teacher would yell at them for calling each other that - they implied that it was equivalent to calling some one a @sshole or something. Teachers never asked the boys why they thought that calling someone a fag was an insult. Using “lesbian” as an insult to attack Hillary should be just as offensive to lesbians as it is hurtful to the Clinton family.
Not a Hillary fan (and would dispute that the GOP is scared of her), but what a horrifying preview of how discourse may devolve in advance of 2008.
You can bet the lowest common denominator will keep a constant current of innuendo. And Ed Klein? I feel like I have to shower.
