This post is dedicated to my Memere. She’s a great lady who has been through a lot in her life. Right now she is battling Parkinson’s Disease (or PD as she calls it) but she isn’t allowing it to bring down her spirits or affect her sense of humor.

She had a fall recently (PD affects muscle control) and it put her in a rehabilitation facility until she can strengthen her legs and start walking on her own again.

I just wanted you to know I love you Memere and I’m thinking about you. Get better soon.
