So maybe you all have heard this, but it was news to me!
It is rumored that the Dems in VA are courting Ben Affleck to run for the Senate seat George Allen will be vacating next year. There was even an article in the Washington Post about it.
Crazy. He and Mrs. Alias are looking for a house down the road from me. Crazy.
It would be the only reason I would move to Virginia, the most gay un-friendly state in America.
Will Ben be the next actor President?

I had a fit when Schwarzenegger ran but I knew he would win on name recognition. The same will go for that idiot Ben.
Is this where we are going with this country? Qualifying potential candidates through looks and name recognition rather than achievement, intelligence and pure intent towards public service? WTH?
