Going forward I am going to make it a point to produce a once a month “State of the Blog” post.

It will give both you and me a sense of where this blog has been, where it is now, and where it is going.

Ending 11/30/2005, there were 197 posts and 565 comments made on this blog. Getting close to that 200 mark!

In the first month I actually kept logs on the server (September 2005) there were 6,597 visitors and 43,749 hits. October 2005 saw an almost doubling in visitors - 12,733 and 92,216 hits.

In November 2005 there was almost another doubling! 21,284 visitors and 194,427 hits.

As of this post there have been a total of 41,191 visitors since September 2005 - 13,192 of them unique IPs. This works out to an average of 528 visitors per day.

Daily Kos numbers they are not, but not bad for my little corner of cyber space.

In the next few months I want to change things up a little bit and add a bunch of new features. If you haven’t registered for the blog you should do it now!

I will be introducing exclusive benefits to registered users in the near future. You wouldn’t want to miss out now would you?!

I also want to take a minute to thank all the people who regularly visit and all the people who regularly comments on my blog. I can’t tell you how much you all rock!
