Many of you have probably already heard this, but I just found out a bit ago through email.
A South African has legalized gay marriage! Check out the article (where they spell legalize wrong!)
That makes 5 countries that have legalized boy-boy and girl-girl unions - and STILL no boy-horse or girl-lobster unions.
I guess all those naysayers who believed the slippery slope of non-traditional marriage would eventually lead to complete societal destruction were…um…being a little dramatic!
They should take up theatre. Oh wait. That’s too gay ![]()

Justin,
How are you doing buddy? Just wanted to give you a shout out and say hello. Congrats on almost being done with grad school. Man that is SUCH an achievement. I’m so proud of you! As far as homosexual marriages being legal in South Africa - how awesome is that? Here’s to Gay Marriage! The weddings might involve some theatrical production, cosmetology, or interior design elements though - oh well!

Mmmmmmm…boy…lobster…..butter…mmmmmmm
Even though I’m from New Englad I’m not a lobster fan!
I have seriously been thinking about a move to africa to do international public health… now, I know which country I should live in =o)
Yeah i’ve heard people rave about SA - I need to check it out one of these days!
Jesse - what is your blog address?
Justin,
I’m at jessesrealityshow.blogspot.com
Justin, that’s how we spell legalize here in South Africa…
Great blog. In Standard English, which is used in South Africa and the UK, legalise, organise, immobilise, etc., are spelled with an “s” and not a “z”. For interests sake we also use “re” and not “er” as in centre/center. Just FYI.
Thanks Jesse!
Barry & James - I am totally blaming this one on ignorance. (slapping myself on the forehead) I knew about “centre” vs “center” but I never knew about the “z” vs the “s.” Thanks for letting telling me so I don’t make an “arse” out of myself in the future!
