I’ve been doing some web consulting for Warren Brown, the owner of CakeLove and host of the show “Sugar Rush” on the Food Network.

His bakery is here in DC and my ex John is managing the opening of their brand new Silver Spring location.

They are having their “soft opening” today so I spent HOURS yesterday setting up a subdomain and updated site for Silver Spring - silverspring.cakelove.com.

I’m also working on setting up a blog for Warren/CakeLove. It should be great once its done! He’s planning on giving people a behind the scenes look at the show, the bakery, and hints/tips on all sorts of baking goodness. More to come on that soon.

The only break I got yesterday was the 3 HOURS I spent with Shauna going to see King Kong. I don’t care what people say - that movie was AMAZING.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. The graphics and effects were incredible. I didn’t even have to pee once during the whole movie. If you know me - that tells you something!!!

I ended up doing CakeLove updating until 5:30am and then woke up at 8am to do more. I got a little more sleep but I’m wicked wiped today!!

So for the rest of the day I plan on making more changes for CakeLove and then cleaning and maybe packing a bit.
