Boston - Day 1

» by Justin in: My Life

My mom and I had a whole bunch of errands to run (returning my MA license plates, stopping by the store, etc) so we got back home at around 5pm.

This meant that I wasn’t going to be packed and ready to leave for Boston for a few hours – which was ok because my friend James (whom I was staying with) said the later the better.

Of course, neither of us anticipated it would take me almost 5 hours to pack…HAHAHA

I didn’t know what I should bring with me! Should I bring all my t-shirts or just some. Did I need to bring two things of tooth paste or three…

I’ve never traveled the country by car before – you don’t really know how to prepare for something this big!

But I finally packed everything and my sister and I loaded up my Jeep. It’s packed…I mean PACKED with stuff. Over the next few weeks I need to figure out what I do and don’t need so that as I head back down through MA I can thin out what I REALLY need from what would be ideal to have with me.

Plus it gives me more reasons to buy things on the road….hahahahaha!

So I ended up getting to James’ place at 11-something. Neither of us had had dinner (it was the plan to meet up for dinner).

So after we lugged the majority of the stuff my sister and I just packed into my Jeep – about 4 suitcases, boxes, bags, etc – UP 5 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS – we went to grab dinner at this place around the corner fittingly named “Blackstones”.

Blackstone I can’t seem to leave you! Haha

In any event, we ate dinner and had a few drinks and then went back to James’ and hit the sack!
