(CBS4) BLACKSTONE The water is back on in Blackstone.
Town administrator Ray Houle declared it safe in a news conference Wednesday afternoon, more than a day after fears spread that the system may have been contaminated in a break-in Monday night. A boil water order has replaced the ban as a precaution.
Two 15-year-old boys face felony charges in connection with the break-in at the water storage facility.
They drained…er…wasted…over 55,000 gallons of water, businesses that used water had to close losing thousands of dollars of business, and school was closed. They’re saying this whole debacle will cost the town over $100,000 and there might be a water ban for most of the summer.
Stupid Kids.

At some point, do you have to take accountability? Before your big trip, no one knew your town. Nothing ever happened there.
Now, you launch this GAY trip. God has to respond, in a most forceful way!!
If I lived in a red state, that is the way a fair and balanced network Must report the situation.
God is resourceful === and hateful == or so they say
I look forward to your thoughts and the rest of your trip
I would like to be in the back seat ==== but that is what you are doing
Thanks
Jim
yeah, i totally thought about you when i saw that on the news yesterday/tuesday. glad to see it was rectified somewhat quickly, but, yeah, how scary is it that our water systems can be tampered with so easily!
Old enough? Hahaha, I never expected you to give me ammo on THAT particular topic!
OMG - I can’t believe it made it on the news all the way to DC. CRAZY! Seriously…stupid kids!
I’d advise those kids to move…a water ban will make some residents very angry.
