Does This Make Sense To You…?

» by Justin in: My Life

Here is the latest on the situation here in Blackstone

“CBS) BLACKSTONE, Mass. Police arrested three teenagers in connection with a break-in at a water facility as more than 9,000 area residents waited to hear if their drinking water had been contaminated.

Someone cut the barbed wire around the facility late Monday, cut lines to an alarm, and then damaged an electrical panel and a vent at the top of a 1.3-million-gallon water storage tank, authorities said.

A 5-gallon container with a strange odor was found on top of the tank, said Ed Coletta, a spokesman for the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.

Blackstone Police said Wednesday that two 15-year-old boys now face felony charges and that a 15-year-old girl is also a suspect in the break-in. They had received reports about three teenagers seen running from the area that night.”

So you’re telling me three teenagers:

Cut through a barbed wire fence
    Cut the alarm system
    Damaged an electrical panel
Climbed on top of a HUGE 1.3 million gallon water storage tank
And dumped something in the tank for shits and giggles

Does this make sense to you? Do teenagers have more gusto these days or does this story seem a bit strange…?

My theory - the FBI is doing a test to see how a small town reacts to the threat of bioterrorism.

Or someone really did contaminate the water supply.

All I know is if I don’t hear anything by noon my ass is in that shower…

Goodbye Justin…hello Toxic Avenger!

It’s nice to know that security around our drinking water facilities is top notch.

Looking at the potential for diaster, wouldn’t you think, that somewhere along the line, that sites like would have been made more secure. Sorry for the run on sentence.

Well, the other weird thing about this whole situation was that a brand new security system was going to be installed the day after they broke in. Yeah. Weird.
