Too Conservative??

» by Justin in: Politics, Gay

Because I have my web statistics at hand I get to see how many people are visiting my site and where they are being referred from. For instance, if you are reading a post that links to me at Scott-O-Rama and you click on that link I can see that someone came over from that website. I don’t know who, but I know that someone got here from there.

Well, today I noticed that a ton of people were coming over from this website called TooConservative.com.

Interesting, I thought.

Hmmmm…?, I thought.

So I went to check it out. What I found was that the website didn’t have a link to my blog - they were just using a picture hosted on my website.

Hmmmm.

I then checked to see what TooConservative.com had to say about the gays. Were they nice conservatives or not so nice conservatives…?

Here is what I found:

As I have stated elsewhere on the site, if someone is gay, I really don’t care, it’s none of my business. Where it crosses the line for me is when it is shoved in my face, and only then do I get annoyed. Straight American’s don’t parade around in streets wearing costumes and waving banners proclaiming how happy they are to be straight…. so neither should homosexuals.

We as a party need to come off as the protector of the family unit, without going against our Christian beliefs and forgetting to show people compassion. We have the logical facts on our side…as there is one blinding undeniable fact: only men and women can repopulate.

Everyone has flaws, so how can one segment sit on a pedestal and look down at all homosexuals? Life is short guys, lets try to live it with some civility.

Not too bad…not too good. Kinda like one of those “give me a high fives” that ends up with you getting your head smacked. A backhanded compliment, if you will. Being gay is a flaw, gay marriage is wrong, but live and let live.

Hmmmmm.

Well, since my big ol’ gay blog was hosting the picture, if I decided I wanted to delete it or change it that would mean it would change wherever it was being linked to.
:)
Where there was this, a picture of candidate for Virginia Lt. Governor Chap Peterson:

Is now this:

I’m not evil…just flawed ;) HAHA

    Hysterical, Justin.
    Good work.
And I agree. The cost of college is outrageous and did you know they had further cut the federal student loan funding programs? I spend a lot of time on a predominantly conservative site and all I got when I mentioned this was basically, “Good! These kids should get a job! I shouldn’t have to pay for anyone else’s edjudacation.”

Lord. It’s infuriating. As if, #1) ANY “kid” job would generate enough pay to fund the outrageous cost of higher education. #2) The utter lack of understanding of this screwed up system where you are punished for working by their deducting that from any loans you MAY qualify for. #3) The fact that an educated populace benefits all of us and the country as a whole long term.

OK. Rant over. Sorry. But stupid people annoy me and at the rate this government is going and the direction it is taking, anyone with an IQ of 71 or higher is going to be considered brilliant. Argh!

Hmmm. Am I on some kind of “leans right” (which I no longer do–I plead temporary insanity ;) comment watch list? My submissions seem to take forever to go up.

Lisa! I did some research and found out that I had the word “loan” on my comment spam-filter so anyone who commented with the word “loan” would end up having their comment held until I approved it. I took that word out since it’s conversation topic on my blog HAHA! That should take care of the problem.

So they updated their site and called me a “liberal homosexual male” HAHA OK! LOVE THE LABELS!

Working full time it would take someone 8 years to finish school and make enough to pay for it. How is anyone supposed to do that?! It frustrates me that our society looks down at people who can’t get a formal education and yet does so little to help them get one. Something I want to work on over the course of my life!

Oh - and there is nothing wrong with leaning right. Just not crazy right. Same goes for the left! I’m a fan of the middle!

I especially love the “don’t flaunt it in our faces” mentality. All I for for that is fuck you! ASS! I am proud of who I am, and I don’t need you tell me whether it is right or wrong! Your opinion doesn’t matter!
