That’s right! I met Margaret Cho last night! (Click here for more pics!)
I went to Ryan Landry’s “Showgirls!” at the Crown & Anchor and Margaret Cho was the surprise guest co-host of the show.
She was fabulous. She did a little bit of stand-up and then helped Ryan navigate through all the girls (and guys!) who performed.
Margaret did a little performing herself! Her boyfriend played a song on the guitar while Margaret did a provocative dance and in the end got down to…well…her undies!
So we got to see Margaret in all her glory - Janet Jackson style. It was hilarious and sexy and fun!
Ryan Landry got naked so many times I lost count. I think I’ve seen his ass more than my boyfriend’s 
kidding…
It was a packed house - standing room only at quarter of showtime - and it ended up being a great show.
A lot of locals stars performed a tiny bit of their stuff to give people a taste of what their shows are like - Cashetta and Miss Richfield - some comedians and poets - etc, etc. It’s a great way to see what is out here in PTown and to find out what shows you’d like to see.
Anyway…I had to share my Margaret meeting with you all.

Blood Ray - You would LOVE bear week. I loved it. The guys are so nice. Well, most of them. Some were way too into the “I’m a BEAR!” thing - growling, assless chaps, etc. Overall they were great guys - and cute!
Chris - I did get to see a bunch of drag queens down there but never a show. The next time I’m down there I will be sure to check them out! I have gotten to hang out and know Randy Roberts who is from Key West but down in PTown for the summer. He’s a nice guy!
