It’s been a long time since girls have gotten me this excited.

But it’s happened. I am officially excited by the fact “Dreamgirls” the show has become “Dreamgirls” the movie and will be coming to theaters this December.

I don’t know if any of you watched “America’s Got Talent” last summer - I didn’t - but my mom came across a clip of the girl who won the show. She’s 11. 11. My mom exaggerates…just a bit…so when she said this 11 year old girl was AMAZING I took it with a grain of salt.

Then I watched this video. The girl, Biana Ryan, performs one of the best numbers from the upcoming “Dreamgirls” movie called, “And I am telling you I’m not going.”

It is simply the best performance I have ever seen. Brandy’s reaction was mine.

I checked and her CD just came out. I listened to the samples on iTunes, but it seemed to lack the ‘umph’ of her live performances. She seems tamed and too Celine Dion-like.

I hope she comes out with a “Bianca Ryan LIVE” CD. I’d buy that!
