Have you ever shared a cab with a dog?

I did on Thursday. My friend Sean and I shared a cab from Cobalt and as soon as we got in this dog jumped into my lap and laid there the entire ride.

His name was Taz. He was half corgi, half shepard. WEIRD looking dog, but he was very friendly.

It was a first for me.

So now I kinda want a dog. Well, not that one. But a little french bulldog or pug. I won’t get one, but it’s a happy thought.

The week has been getting better - both with adjusting to a new relationship status and with adjusting to life back in DC. I signed up for the gym and went for the first time yesterday. And I went a little crazy… I ran for 3.5 miles, rowed for 3.5 miles, and biked for 3.5 miles. Needless to say, I am sore as a bitch today. But it will be worth it!

And of course I went out last night and didn’t get home till the wee hours of the morning. Wee. And I’m feeling it today. HAHA I wake up and my body is one big ache, my room smells like smoke from Cobalt (I cannot wait until Jan 1), and I am parched and starving.

I’ve got tons to do - job hunting, planning for the Miami trip for Drew’s birthday, posting pics, etc, etc - but I’m going to take care of that stuff tomorrow. I’m off to the gym and to dinner with Shauna and Drew tonight. Yay!
