Would You Have Ever Known?

» by Justin in: Politics

It’s stuff like this that drives me crazy. It’s hard to trust the news when so much information in it is just plain false and not fact checked…

Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs and should be arrested, exiled, or hanged.
— President Abraham Lincoln

Except for the mildly inconvenient fact that Lincoln never actually said that, this is a great way for Washington Times columnist Frank Gaffney to lead off his latest column.

In this column, Gaffney attempts to argue that anything which criticizes the Word of Dear Leader will inevitably lead to Undermining the Troops, and is hence treason and should be punished as such.
