Oprah and Bill O’Reilly

Oprah recently had O’Reilly on her show to discuss child abduction. Yes, the same Bill O’Reilly that was uninvited to a fundraising event for the Center for Missing and Exploited Children because of his remarks about a kidnapped child having “a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents.”

Media Matters for America did an item on the story.

What I find very interesting are some of the remarks being left on Oprah’s message board. Check them out if you want a good laugh.

I don’t care what you think the show was about. This man was caught red handed, so to speak, harrassing women. Just because they weren’t children, doesn’t erase his standing. He enjoys lying about people and situtations to get people to watch his show. There are many other people doing work to stop child predators. Bill O’Reilly is not some one I want to see on Oprah, who I thought stood as a protector of all women.

I’m not any crazy lefty, but I know when I’m being snowed. That’s this man’s middle name.

Shame on Oprah for having him on.

I just don’t get it. What is happening with Oprah and her producers. I mean tons of people can’t stand BOR without his latest comments regarding Shawn. He shouoldn’st have said what he said and is a coward in not being able to apologize for his utterly stupid comments. She is losing her audience. As I said before, what is going on with her. What is going on with her producers. He used Oprah for his own benefit to try and regain his name (whatever that name might be). What I don’t get is how Oprah allowed herself and her audience to be used. And yes, I do understand that we must look at the big picture and not focus on the likes of BOR. BUT, HE IS JUST SO SICKENING. ONCE AGAIN, WHAT WAS SHE THINKING.

All I can say is don’t make Oprah mad…
