OK. June. Go.
June was my birthday month. I posted on that a bit. I prepped for my party, had my party, and then celebrated pride in DC (which I also posted about here).
Well, in mid-June Drew, Shauna, and I trekked down (up?) to Rehoboth Beach in Delaware for some fun in the sun. Except, it wasn’t really sunny.
OK on one day - the day we were leaving. We were all just glad to be there at the beach, see cute boys, and get our drink on. Lots and lots and lots of alcohol was consumed that weekend. And we enjoyed every minute of it. (You can see all my pics from the trip here)
I managed to 1) randomly run into a guy I dated in college who I always thought was a sweetheart, 2) get invited to a house party by a guy who climbed up to my second floor balcony in order to hand me said invite,
3) help get our shots boy down to his underwear…IN THE BAR (yes, oh yes, you need to see the pictures…), and 4) end up naked in a hot tub with 5 other naked people. Hey, it was a big hot tub. And I’m not shy! ![]()
[ok - a little admission - I removed a block of my post that was right here. HOWEVER, I did not delete it. I moved it to my next post about July. Why, you ask? Well, I am slightly retarded and completely misplaced an entire section meant for July.]
June was also the month of my friend Eric’s birthday (pics here). So I went to his place and celebrated with a bunch of people. I didn’t eat much and drank like 6 beers. Of course, we ended up at JRs. haha.
Eric’s birthday was on the 20th - a Wednesday - which made my Thursday morning rough. Staying in Thursday night was plenty of time to recover for Friday night (pics here), which I now interchangeably refer to as work happy hour.
I ended up having a looooong work happy hour that Friday night (and Saturday morning!). My friend Julio showed us the mythical carrot penis before his shift started at Annie’s. Then my coworker Jess who still loves ‘NSYNC (10 years later) ended up (drunkenly) requesting one of their songs at Cobalt…on a Friday night…to which the DJ replied, “Honey…retro is Tuesday nights…” It was the bitchiest things I had ever heard at Cobalt, and the highlight of my weekend! We both still laugh about it.
The rest of June flew by. I hung out with my good friends, saw a huge tree on Pst in Dupont Circle laying across the street over cars (which was pretty rad), and generally recovered from a busy month.
And good thing…because July D.R.A.I.N.E.D. me. More on that very soon!

Wow, it sounds like a whirlwind of entertainment. Although I and many others missed hearing of your tales, I am delighted to hear you were having a blast overall and are doing well.
I look forward to hearing about July soon.

Thanks Christopher. July was - and wasn’t - as fun. :-/ You’ll see…
