I’m Getting Yelled At…

By almost everyone I know. “Update your friggin’ blog all ready.”
OK OK
Yikes! Sorry!
It’s been an amazingly busy couple of weeks and after working online all day, it’s hard to get up the gumption to jump on my own blog and write something up. It’s got something to do with the summer too.

Well, […]

Feel free to send me a little present

My party on Saturday was AMAZING - I’ve got some GREAT pictures coming later tonight. Make sure to check back.
Here’s one from last year to tide you over!

As I was sick all last week, the RRD was shot. It happens. I’m […]

The ER

Why haven’t I blogged in a while. Hmmm…
Well, yesterday I spent over 6 hours in the ER.
Because my symptoms indicated menangitis, they decided to make me wear a mask. In the waiting room. While they blasted news about the guy with TB on the television.
Oh, it gets better.

After they called me into […]

The RRD - Day 16 - Um, bigger?

» by Justin May 23rd, 2007 at 12:36 am » Comments (11)

And is a good way?
I have been doing amazingly on the Ryan Reynolds diet. I have to say, I’m very excited. I’m never hungry, I’m never full, and I have energy all day long. I have my banana and oatmeal in the morning, salad and chicken/fish/protein for lunch, salad and chicken/fish/protein for […]

Yes, I know, I know. I haven’t blogged in a while - especially in the middle of giving updates on how the Ryan Reynolds Diet is working out for me.
Well, a lot has happened in my life over the past few days.
First and foremost…I FINALLY sold my Jeep. YAY! After it got […]

Go to the gym and workout…or…go to JRs and drink…?
Go to the gym and workout…or…go to JRs and drink…?
Go to the gym and workout…or…go to JRs and drink…?
*sigh*
Ok - Ok - JRs…
Ryan Reynolds is NOT going to be happy about this…
Looks like I’ll be in the gym all weekend!!

The RRD - Day 4 - Back. On. Track.

» by Justin May 10th, 2007 at 10:57 pm » Comments (1)

Ran over 3.5 miles.
Did over 550 various different kinds of situps.
Did a very quick chest and triceps workout.
OMG. Ouch.
But in a good way
I’m getting into the groove of my new diet and workout routine and it feels great. Because I have sugar only from fresh fruit, I don’t feel any high or low […]

The RRD - Day 3 - My. First. Cheat.

» by Justin May 9th, 2007 at 11:28 pm » Comments (6)

I ate right pretty much all day. Actually, less than the RRD says I should be eating. I didn’t get to my protein shake and only ate half my lunch. The eating little meals every two hours thing is hard work.
After a long day at work I had to skip the gym […]

The RRD - Day 2 - My. Abs. Hurt.

» by Justin May 9th, 2007 at 11:43 am » Comments (3)

A little over 500 sit-ups yesterday. Woah. Ouch.
AND I lifted weights for the first time in FOREVER yesterday. I must have looked slightly ridiculous - low weight, struggling to lift. hahaha
Not as ridiculous as this guy who was using one of those rubber cord things with the handles - the kind […]

The RRD - Day 1

» by Justin May 7th, 2007 at 11:35 pm » Comments (4)

Let’s review:
*Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal rocks
*The protein bars I bought taste like horse feed
*The scoop of protein shake powder required for one protein shake is the size of my hand
*The protein shake I bought tastes like medicine. Vanilla flavored medicine
*Don’t try to mix protein shake powder with blueberry yogurt, especially when the scoop is […]

Second. Observation.

OMG these things taste like horse feed. And I bought two friggin’ boxes.

An all natural combination of savory berries and rolled oats designed to provide your body with the power it needs. A nutritionally healthful source of pure protein, deliciously blended with carbs and fat to help you be powered. Whenever. Whereever.
These statements have […]

First. Observation.

Irish Steel Cut Oatmeal - the kind Ryan Reynolds ate while training - is not easy to cook at work.
But it’s DAMN GOOD! mmm mmm mmm
